Guidelines for Admission in Centralized Undergraduate Programmes for Session 2021-22

1. Important Instructions

  • 1.1 प्रवेश सम्बन्धी निर्देश विश्वविद्यालय अधिनियम, परिनियम, अध्यादेशों तथा नियमों के अनुसार हैं।The instructions related to the admissions given here are as per the Act, Ordinances, Rules & Regulations of the University.
  • 1.2 गैप प्रमाण-पत्रः यदि इण्टरमीडियेट के बाद प्रवेश लेने मंे अन्तराल हो तो अन्तराल के कारण का (10 रू॰ के स्टाम्प पेपर पर नोटरी द्वारा निर्गत) शपथ-पत्र प्रवेश के समय जमा करें।Gap Certificate: If there is gap in taking admission after Intermediate, then an affidavit certified by the Notary on Rs. 10.00 Stamp paper has to be submitted at the time of admission.
  • 1.3 यदि आप आरक्षण (reservation) अथवा शून्य शुल्क (zero fees) का लाभ चाहते हैं तो सम्बन्धित प्रमाण-पत्र का विवरण आनलाइन आवेदन के साथ अवश्य दें। आॅनलाइन आवेदन पत्र प्रेषित करने के पश्चात् किसी भी अभ्यर्थी को भारण या आरक्षण में परिवर्तन की अनुमति नहीं मिलेगी।If you want benefit of reservation or zero fees, then give the details of the related certificates during the filling of the Online application form. No candidate will get the permission for any change in weightage or reservation after the form is submitted.
  • 1.4 प्रवेश प्रक्रिया की विस्तृत सूचना लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध रहेगी। अभ्यर्थियों को सलाह दी जाती है कि वे विश्वविद्यालय की वेबसाइट नियमित रूप से देखते रहें।The detailed information of the admission procedure will be displayed on the University of Lucknow website. Candidates are advised to check for updates regularly on the University website.
  • 1.5 योग्यता सूची घोषित होने पर इसकी प्रति लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय के वेबसाइट पर देखने के लिए उपलब्ध रहेगी। अभ्यर्थी को स्वयं अपना योग्यता-क्रमांक, योग्यता-सूची से ज्ञात करना होगा। योग्यता-सूची समाचार-पत्रों में प्रकाशित नहीं करायी जायेगी।After declaration of the merit list a copy of the list will be displayed on the University of Lucknow website. The candidate himself/herself will find his/her merit number from the merit list. The merit list will not be published in the newspaper.
  • 1.6 वे अभ्यर्थी जो अनुसूचित जाति/जनजाति एवं अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग (नाॅन-क्रीमीलेयर) के हैं तथा उत्तर प्रदेश के मूल निवासी हैं, उन्हें ही आरक्षण का लाभ देय होगा तथा अन्य प्रदेशों के अनुसूचित जाति/जनजाति एवं अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के अभ्यर्थी सामान्य श्रेणी के माने जायेंगें।The Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy layer) candidates originally belonging to Uttar Pradesh will be given the benefit of reservation. Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes candidates of other States will be treated as general.
  • 1.7 आरक्षण का लाभ उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार/लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय के नियमों के अन्तर्गत दिया जायेगा।The reservation shall be given as permissible under the Uttar Pradesh Government / University of Lucknow Rules.
  • 1.8 जाति तथा आय प्रमाण पत्र सरकारी वेबसाइट से प्रमाणित किया जायेगा।Caste and income certificates shall be verified on Government website.
  • 1.9 आॅनलाइन प्रवेश पंजीकरण के समय जमा किया गया समस्त शुल्क किसी भी स्थिति में वापस नही किया जायेगा।All fees deposited at the time of registration will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • 1.10 छात्रत्व के दौरान रैगिंग जैसी कुत्सित घटना में सम्मिलित होने पर छात्र के विरूद्व माननीय उच्चत्तम न्यायालय के निर्देशानुसार कार्यवाही की जायेगी।As directed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, action will be taken against the students who indulge in incidence like ragging during studentship.
  • 1.11 ऐसे अभ्यर्थी जो वर्तमान वर्ष में अर्हता परीक्षा में सम्मिलित हो रहे है, वे भी इस प्रवेश परीक्षा में आवेदन करने हेतु अर्ह होंगे। ऐसे अभ्यर्थियों को काउंसिलिंग प्रक्रिया के पूर्व न्यूनतम अर्हता धारित करना अनिवार्य होगा।Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in the current year can apply for admission but they should fulfill all eligibility conditions on the day of counselling.

2. General Information

  • 2.1 विश्वविद्यालय को किसी भी समय प्रवेश नियमों में परिवर्तन एवं संशोधन करने का अधिकार है। The University reserves the right to change or amend the admission rules at any time without prior notification.
  • 2.2यदि कोई अभ्यर्थी असत्य सूचनाआंे/अनुचित साधनों के आधार पर अथवा फर्जी अंक पत्रोंध्प्रमाण पत्रों के आधार पर प्रवेश पाता है तो जिस समय भी यह तथ्य उद्घाटित होगा, उसका प्रवेश प्रारम्भ से ही निरस्त कर दिया जायेगा तथा उसके विरूद्ध प्च्ब् की सम्बन्धित धाराओं के अन्र्तगत कार्यवाही की जायेगी। If any candidate gets admission on the basis of false information/improper means or on the basis of false mark-sheet/certificates, his/her admission will be treated cancelled from the beginning and legal action will be taken against him/her under IPC.
  • 2.3 23 फरवरी, 2021 को आयोजित प्रवेश समिति की बैठक में लिए गए निर्णय के अनुसार कला, वाणिज्य, विधि, विज्ञान और ललित कला संकायों में स्नातक अभ्यर्थियों का प्रवेश, इस हेतु आयोजित की जाने वाली विश्वविद्यालय की प्रवेश परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंको के आधार पर तैयार योग्यता सूची से लिया जायेगा। As per decision taken in the admission committee meeting held on February 23, 2021, admissions in the Faculties of Arts, Commerce, Law, Science and Fine Arts Under Graduate students shall be admitted on the basis of marks obtained in Under-Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) of the University.
  • 2.4 योग्यता के क्रम को निम्नलिखित रूप में निर्धारित किया जायेगा:- Order of Merit will be determined as follows :-
  • 2.4.1यदि दो या दो से अधिक अभ्यर्थियों ने मेरिट सूची में बराबर अंक/श्रेणी प्राप्त किये हैं तो प्रवेश के लिए मेरिट का निर्धारण निम्नलिखित प्रकार से होगाः- If two or more candidates have secured equivalent marks/rank in the merit Index, then the merit for admission will be determined as follows:-
  • 2.4.1(a)जिस अभ्यर्थी के इण्टरमीडिएट (102) या समकक्ष परीक्षा या पाॅलीटेक्निक डिप्लोमा में उच्च प्रतिशत प्राप्त होंगे, उस अभ्यर्थी को पहली वरीयता दी जायेगी। The candidate, who has secured higher percentage of marks at Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination or polytechnic diploma, will be given preferance.
  • 2.4.1(b)यदि अभ्यर्थियों के इण्टरमीडिएट (102) या समकक्ष परीक्षा या पाॅलीटेक्निक डिप्लोमा परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंक बराबर हंै तो ऐसी स्थिति में पहली वरीयता उस अभ्यर्थी को दी जायेगी जिसने हाई स्कूल या समकक्ष परीक्षा या पाॅलीटेक्निक डिप्लोमा में उच्चतर प्रतिशत प्राप्त किया हैं। If the marks secured in class 12 or equivalent examination or polytechnic diploma are the same in such cases first preference will be given to the candidate who has secured higher percentage of marks at High School or equivalent examination.
  • 2.4.1(c) यदि हाई स्कूल में प्राप्त अंक भी बराबर है तो ऐसी स्थिति में आयु में वरिष्ठ अभ्यर्थी को वरीयता दी जायेगी। If the marks obtained at the High School or equivalent examination are also the same, then in that case the older candidate will be given priority.
  • 2.5अभ्यर्थी योग्यता (मेरिट) के आधार पर पर भारण (यदि कोई है) के लिए हकदार होगा। The candidate shall be entitled to weightages (if any) on the merit.
  • 2.6 लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय के पास किसी भी प्रवेश को किसी भी अवस्था में निरस्त करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित है। University of Lucknow reserves the right to cancel any admission at any stage.
  • 2.7 प्रवेश से सम्बन्धित अध्यादेश के प्रावधानों के प्रतिपादन के सम्बन्ध मे सभी विवाद लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति/प्रवेश समिति को सौपें जायेंगे और उनका निर्णय अन्तिम होगा। All disputes regarding interpretation of provision of Ordinance related to the admissions shall be referred to the Vice-Chancellor/Admission Committee of University of Lucknow and their decision shall be final.
  • 2.8 विधि संकाय में प्रवेश लेने के इच्छुक अभ्यर्थी एक ही समय में किसी अन्य स्नातक या परास्नातक डिग्री/डिप्लोमा या लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा संचालित या अन्य किसी विश्वविद्यालय या अकादमिक या व्यवसायिक शिक्षा वाले संस्थान के सर्टिफिकेट कोर्स में विधि स्नातक कार्यक्रम के साथ-साथ नामांकित नही हो सकते है। In case of students seeking admission to the Faculty of Law, he/she shall not be allowed to simultaneously register for a Law degree programme with any other graduate or post graduate degree/diploma or even a certificate course run by the University of Lucknow or any other University or an Institute for academic or professional learning.
  • 2.9हिन्दी साहित्य सम्मेलन, प्रयाग, प्रयागराज अथवा नदवा कालेज, लखनऊ से उत्तीर्ण अभ्यथिर्यों ने यदि अंग्रेजी भाषा के साथ इण्टरमीडिएट स्तर की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण नहीं हंै तो वे प्रवेश हेतु अर्ह नहीं होंगे। If the candidate has passed out from Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Prayag, Prayagraj or Nadwa College, Lucknow & has not passed Intermediate Exam with English language then he/she will not be eligible for admission.
  • 2.10विश्वविद्यालय में प्रवेश के इच्छुक सभी विदेशी छात्रों को हिन्दी अथवा अंग्रेजी भाषा का ज्ञान होना अनिवार्य है। विश्वविद्यालय में पठन-पाठन का माध्यम हिन्दी व अंग्रेजी है। All foreign students seeking admission in the University are compulsorily required to have knowledge of Hindi or English language. Medium of study in University is Hindi and English.
  • 2.11For admission to the Faculty of Law
    • 2.11.1For the students taking admission to the LL.B. (Integrated) course there shall be no lateral entry on the plea of graduation in any subject or exit by way of awarding a degree splitting the course at any intermediary stage of the course.
    • 2.11.2प्रवेश प्रक्रिया के लिए यूजीसी/बीसीआई/एनसीटीई के सुसंगत नियम (समय-समय पर सशोधित) बाध्यकारी होंगें। The relevant UGC/BCI/NCTE rules (as amended from time to time) shall be binding.
  • 2.12भारण रू उत्कृष्ट खिलाड़ीए एन॰सी॰सी॰ 'बी' प्रमाण पत्र धारकए विधि संकाय में प्रवेश हेतु महिला अभ्यर्थियांे को भारण के फलस्वरूप उनके द्वारा कम्बाइन्ड मेरिट में अर्जित प्राप्तांक का क्रमशः 5%, 2.5%, 5% जोड़कर उनका योग्यता क्रमांक योग्यता सूची में निर्धारित किया जायेगा। Weightage: The final merit of the candidates bearing the Outstanding sports person, N.C.C “B” certificate and girl candidates of Faculty of Law will be determined in the merit list by adding 5%, 2.5%, 5% of the total marks obtained by him/her in the combined merit.
  • 2.13प्रवेश शुल्क की वापसी के प्रार्थना पत्र, प्रवेश प्राप्ति के केवल 30 (तीस) दिनों के भीतर प्राप्त होने पर ही स्वीकार किये जायेंगे। प्रवेश शुल्क की वापसी जमा शुल्क में 10ः की कटौती करके होगीए प्रतिबन्ध यह है कि विद्यार्थी की किसी भी कक्षा में उपस्थिति अंकित न हुई हो। The request for refund of fees to withdrawal from the course shall only be entertained if made within 30 days from the date of admission. The refund is subjected to 10% deduction of fee deposited, provided the student has not attended the classes.
  • 2.14प्रवेश से सम्बन्धित सभी कानूनी विवादों का न्याय क्षे़़त्र लखनऊ ही होगा। All the legal matters pertaining to the admission shall be subject to Lucknow Judicature only.

3. Weightage & Reservation Policy

3.1 Weightage

3.1.1 Out standing sportsperson 5% of marks obtained in qualifying examination.
3.1.2 N.C.C. “B” Certificate holders 2.5% of marks obtained in qualifying examination.
3.1.3 For faculty of Law, girls will be given weightage of 5% of marks obtained in qualifying examination.

3.2 Reservation

All reservations would be given as per State Government policies and University guidelines.
3.2.1 Vertical maximum percentages

3.2.1.3 OBC (Non Creamy Layer)* 27%

3.2.1.3.1 Applicants of OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category would require the following certificates at the time of counseling.
  • OBC (Non Creamy Layer) Certificate issued on or after July 1, 2018. The OBC (Non Creamy layer) certificate issued before July 1, 2018, will not be considered.
3.2.1.3.2

3.3.8 Income Certificate (within 6 months) Income certificates shall be verified on internet.
3.3.9 Teachers/     Employees    of    University (3.2.2.1) Registrar, University of Lucknow. The certificates issued  on or after 1st March of the year of admission will only be considered.
3.3.10 Teacher of the affiliated Govt./Aided Colleges of University of Lucknow and Govt. Ayurvedic College (3.2.2.2) Principal of the college. The certificates issued on or after 1st March of the year of admission will only be considered.
3.4 The weightage will be given according to the rules of University to the players of the following categories:
3.4.1 Such players who have taken part in the inter-regional competitions on behalf of regional team after being selected at the district level in the last two years (the original certificates given by the DIOS/RIOS/DDO will be acceptable).

3.4.2 Such players who have represented Uttar Pradesh in national or inter-state competitions in last two years and the competitions have been organized by State Sports originations recognized by the authorities. The certificates given by the organizers of Govt. organizations of these competitions will be acceptable.
3.4.3 Note: 1. Only those players are eligible who have taken part in such sports competitions for which facility is available in University of Lucknow and which are recognized by University Union (sports department), New Delhi or National institutions.
3.4.4 Note 2. For getting sports and handicapped weightage/ reservation, candidate will have to be present before the sports/medical board. The candidate, who does not appear before these boards, will not be provided the sports and handicapped weightage/ reservation for admission and his/her admission form will be considered as of general category. Information in this regard will be given only on University website.
3.5 Weightage and Sub Category Verification

3.5.2 All candidates who have sought some weightage or sub category reservation have to get their certificate verified on the day of the admission test at designated places.

3.5.3 Such candidates have to bring along their original and photocopy of the certificates (2 sets) along with a print out of the application form, admit card.

3.5.4 Candidates, who have sought any weightage or subcategory in their application form but do not  appear for verification at designated venue, will not be given the benefit claimed.

3.6 Reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)

3.6.1 Applicants of the General category who want to claim the benefit of the EWS reservation have to upload the following documents during filling of online application forms

इण्टरमीडिएट या समकक्ष परीक्षा सामान्य एवं अ॰बी॰सी॰ वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों के कम से कम 60%* अंक एवं अनुसूचित जाति/जनजाति श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थियों के लिए न्यूनतम प्राप्तांक 55%* अनिवार्य है। ;’यह प्रतिशत् समस्त विषयों के प्राप्ताँकों पर आधारित हैद्ध। Intermediate or equivalent examination. The minimum marks compulsory for General and Other Backward Classes candidates is 60%* and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes  is  55%*. (*These percentages are based upon total marks of all the subjects).
4.1.1.2 Programme Details
बीए (अनर्स) कार्यक्रम छह सेमेस्टर में पूरा किया जाएगा । The B.A. (Hons) programme would be completed in six semesters.
बी॰ए॰ (अनर्स) कार्यक्रम में एक अनर्स विषय और दो सहायक विषय होंगे। There will be one Honors subject and two subsidiary subjects in all B. A. (Hons.) Programmes.
4.1.1.3 Choice of Subject
बी॰ए॰ (अनर्स) कार्यक्रम¨ं के लिए एक ही आॅनलाइन फार्म तथा समान प्रवेश परीक्षा होगी। There will be a single online form and a common entrance test for B.A. (Honors) Programmes.
प्रवेश के समय बी॰ए॰ (अनर्स), के विषयों में विकल्प देने की व्यवस्था उपलब्ध रहेगी। Subjects for B.A (Honors) will be available as an option at time of admission.
4.1.1.4 Subsidiary Subjects
अभ्यर्थी को प्रवेश के समय एक अनर्स विषय तथा बी॰ए॰ (अनर्स) कार्यक्रम में उपलब्ध शेष विषय¨ं में से दो सहायक विषयों का चयन करना होगा। At the time of admission the candidate must have to select one Honors Subject and two subsidiary subjects from the remaining subjects offered in B.A. (Honors) programme.

4.1.1.6 BA Hons is a Self finance course, hence if the number of admissions are less than 60% of the total number of the sanctioned seats in the concerned subject then the course shall be discontinued.

4.1.2 बी॰ए॰  B.A.
4.1.2.1 योग्यता/Eligibility
इण्टरमीडिएट या समकक्ष परीक्षा में सामान्य एवं अ॰बी॰सी॰ वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों को कम से कम 40%* अंक एवं अनुसूचित जाति/जनजाति श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थियों के लिए न्यूनतम प्राप्तांक 33%* अनिवार्य है।
’यह प्रतिशत् समस्त विषयों के प्राप्ताँकों पर आधारित है।
The minimum marks required for General and Other Backward Classes candidates is 40% of marks* in Intermediate or equivalent examination and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 33%* of marks in Intermediate or equivalent examination. *This percentage is based upon total marks of all the subjects.
4.1.2.2 Choice of Subject
अभ्यर्थी को प्रवेश के समय तीन विषयों का चयन करना होगा। एक समूह में से केवल एक ही विषय चुना जा सकता है। Candidates have to select three subjects from any three of the following groups opting. Only one subject from a group can be selected.
अभ्यर्थी दो से अधिक साहित्यिक वि-ुनवजयायों का चयन नहीं कर सकता है। The candidate cannot offer more than two literatures (Hindi, Functional Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Functional Sanskrit, French, Urdu, Arabic, Persian)
सांख्यिकी चुनने वाले अभ्यर्थी को गणित भी चुनना होगी। Candidates opting for Statistics will also have to offer Mathematics.

4.2.1 योग्यता/Eligibility
वाणिज्य मंे इण्टरमीडिएट या समकक्ष परीक्षा अथवा अर्थशास्त्र या गणित में से किसी एक विषय के साथ इण्टरमीडिएट। सामान्य एवं अ॰बी॰सी॰ वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों के कम से कम 40% अंक एवं अनुसूचित जाति /जनजाति श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थियों के लिए न्यूनतम प्राप्तांक 33% अनिवार्य है। B.Com (Hons)  में सामान्य एवं अ॰बी॰सी॰ वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों के कम से कम 60% अंक एवं अनुसूचित जाति /जनजाति श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थियों के लिए न्यूनतम प्राप्तांक 55% अनिवार्य है।यह प्रतिशत् समस्त विषयों के प्राप्ताँकों पर आधारित है। Intermediate or equivalent examination with commerce or Intermediate with economics or mathematics as one of the subjects of study. For General and Other Backward Classes candidates must secure atleast 40% of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes minimum number of marks obtained should be 33%. In B.Com (Hons) for General and Other Backward Classes candidates must secure atleast 60% of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes minimum number of marks obtained should be 55%. 7 Mode of Admission

  • 23 फरवरी, 2021 को आयोजित प्रवेश समिति की बैठक में लिए गए निर्णय के अनुसार कला, वाणिज्य, विधि, विज्ञान और ललित कला संकायों में स्नातक अभ्यर्थियों का प्रवेश, इस हेतु आयोजित की जाने वाली विश्वविद्यालय की प्रवेश परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंको के आधार पर तैयार मेरिट लिस्ट लिया जायेगा। As per decision taken in the admission committee meeting held on February 23, 2021, admissions in the Faculties of Arts, Commerce, Law, Science and Fine Arts Under Graduate students shall be admitted on the basis of marks obtained in under-graduate entrance test (UGET) of the University.
  • योग्यता के क्रम को निम्नलिखित रूप में निर्धारित किया जायेगा:-Order of Merit will be determined as follows :-
  • यदि दो या दो से अधिक अभ्यर्थियों ने मेरिट सूची में बराबर अंक/श्रेणी प्राप्त किये हैं तो प्रवेश के लिए मेरिट का निर्धारण निम्नलिखित प्रकार से होगाः-If two or more candidates have secured equivalent marks/rank in the merit list, then the merit for admission will be determined as follows:-
  • जिस अभ्यर्थी के इण्टरमीडिएट (102) या समकक्ष परीक्षा या पाॅलीटेक्निक डिप्लोमा में उच्च प्रतिशत प्राप्त होंगे, उस अभ्यर्थी को पहली वरीयता दी जायेगी।The candidate, who has secured higher percentage of marks at Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination or polytechnic diploma, will be given preferance.
  • यदि अभ्यर्थियों के कक्षा 12 परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंक बराबर हंै तो ऐसी स्थिति में पहली वरीयता उस अभ्यर्थी को दी जायेगी जिसने हाई स्कूल या समकक्ष परीक्षा या पाॅलीटेक्निक डिप्लोमा में उच्चतर प्रतिशत प्राप्त किया हैं।If the marks secured in class 12 or equivalent examination or polytechnic diploma are the same in such cases first preference will be given to the candidate who has secured higher percentage of marks at High School or equivalent examination.
  • अभ्यर्थी योग्यता (मेरिट) के आधार पर पर भारण (यदि कोई है) के लिए हकदार होगा।The candidate shall be entitled to weightages (if any) on the merit.

8 Counseling Procedure

  • 8.1 University of Lucknow will be adopting an Off Campus Online Counseling for the B.A and B.A. (Hons), B.Com., B.Com.(Hons), B.Sc. (Biology), B.Sc. (Mathematics), LL.B. (Integrated), BCA and B.Voc. (Renewable Energy), UG Management (BBA), BBA (Tourism), BVA/BFA, B.El.Ed., B.Sc. (AG), BJMC Programmes. Candidates have to register and submit choices after the result has been declared.
  • 8.2 The prospective candidates are advised to keep visiting the University website regularly for announcements, notices and updates, because no separate information shall be sent to any prospective candidate.

Requirements for Form Submission

  • It is the sole responsibility of the student to go through the Guidelines and check his/ her eligibility at the time of application. We are not verifying the eligibility at the time of application. The eligibility will be verified by the University at the time of Counselling/Admission

They would be needing the following certificates at the time of counseling.
      • EWS certificate issued by the appropriate authority
      • Self declaration certificate
  • Caste Certificate
    • The number of caste certificate issued by the competent authority will have to be entered for availing the benefit of reservation for OBC, SC and ST applicants. Validity of these certificates will be verified from the Government website.
    • Applicants of OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category would require the following certificates at the time of counseling
      • OBC Certificate issued on or after July 1, 2018.
      • The OBC Non Creamy layer certificate issued before July 1, 2018 will not be considered.
    • The Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class candidates originally belonging to Uttar Pradesh will be given the benefit of reservation. Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class candidates of other States will be treated as general.
  • Income Certificate
    • Applicants will have to enter the number of these certificates at the time of filling of the form.
    • The Income certificate has to be issued on or after January 1, 2021 and will be verified through the Government website.
    • Certificates whose details are not available on this website will not be entertained.
    • The applicants who do not have a valid income certificate issued by competent authority will not be given benefit of zero fees at the time of admission.

Form Filling

  • During the form filling process the applicant can make the entries and save the information.
  • If the applicant is unable to fill the form in one sitting or somehow the process is interrupted there is no need to register again. They can login using the credentials sent on their mobile numbers and continue the process
  • Applicants are advised to check all the data they have entered before submitting the application fee. If there is some error they can edit it or start the entire process again. Once they have submitted the application fee the data submitted in the registration page cannot be edited under any circumstances.
  • Step 1 Registration
    • Applicants have to fill the relevant details in the form. These fields cannot be edited later.
    • Applicants will receive their login details in the mobile number and email ID provided at the time of registration.
  • Step 2 Personal Details
    • Applicants have to enter their personal details
  • Step 3 Educational Qualifications
    • Applicants have to fill their educational qualifications.
      • Enter the marks of all the subjects mentioned in the mark sheets

(if result has been declared)

    • Those applicants who have appeared for their Class 12 examination in 2021 have to fill in the name of the examination board and roll number now. All such applicants have to login and fill their marks obtained in the Class 12 examination before appearing for counseling. 
  • Step 4 Upload photo and signature
    • Applicants have to upload their photo and scanned signature.
  • Step 5 Preview
    • Applicants can preview all the entries made at this point. If there is some error they can edit it or start the entire process again. Once they have submitted the application fee the data submitted in the registration page cannot be edited under any circumstances.
  • Step 6 Application Fee
    • If all the entries in the application form are correct the applicant can submit the form and proceed for payment of the application fees.
    • Form fees can be submitted by any of the following ways
      • Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking
  • Step 7  Print Application form
    • Applicants can print their complete application form and fee receipt to complete the application process.
    • Applicants have to retain a printout of their application form which will be needed later on.
    • Applicants do not have to send the print out of the application form to the University.

Data Editing

  • Restricted data can be edited by the candidate by logging into the admission website using the credentials sent to their email and registered mobile number.
    • In case the candidate has missed out on the login details they can regenerate their password by clicking on the forgot password link and entering their registration number. The new login details will be sent to their registered mobile number/ e-mail ID.
  • The submitted data will be treated as freezed after the last data of submission. Till the last date of submission, applicant can make changes in certain fields like Date of Birth, Gender, Address, etc. Applicant’s Name, Father’s Name and Mother’s Name cannot be edited. Corrections in the category opted will be allowed only for General and OBC applicants.

Important Note

  • In case the payment is not updated immediately, applicants are advised to wait for at least 72 hours before contacting the technical helpline 0522-4150500 during working hours. They are also advised not to make multiple payments. All payments that are successful on the console will get updated automatically. They should note that no late fee or fine would be imposed on them.
  • Those applicants who are appearing in their qualifying examination in 2021 have to fill in the name of the examination board now. All such applicants have to login and fill their marks obtained in the qualifying examination before appearing for counseling. 
  • Applicants who want to avail the benefit of Economically Weaker Section (EWS) seats have to choose yes in the personal information page. The certificate for this can be uploaded on the page where there option of uploading photo and signature. It is not compulsory to upload the certificate at the time of form filling.
  • Applicants of the OBC, SC and ST category have to fill the caste certificate number in the space provided for this. In case they do not have the recent certificate they can enter the number of the old certificate or the acknowledgement number and fill the form. They can provide the certificate later.
  • Applicants of the SC and ST category who want to avail the benefit of zero fee are required to mention the income certificate number in the space provided for this. In case they do not have the recent certificate they can enter the number of the old certificate or the acknowledgement number and fill the form. They can provide the certificate later.
