About the Research Cell
The Research Cell was formulated in the University of Lucknow, Lucknow for the first time on 20 March, 2020 under the leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Alok Kumar Rai. It has been formed for the "promotion of quality research" in the different departments of 09 faculties viz. Arts, Commerce, Education, Fine Arts, Law, Science, Engineering & Technology, Ayurveda and Unani. The Research Cell has been created to establish an interactive research environment between all fields including science, engineering, management, social sciences, law, literature, art and culture etc. Some of the major activities of this cell will be to identify projects from different funding agencies and motivate Faculty and students to apply for research projects. It will try to smoothen all project related file movements by suggesting, supporting and creating procedures in the system. It will facilitate the utilization of grants and timely submission of UC/SE. In addition, Research Cell will provide a platform for students and teachers by organizing lectures of eminent personalities, training programmes/workshops and webinars for the upliftment of research in Umiversity of Lucknow. Research Cell will perform any other activity from time to time as advised by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor.
