The Co-operative Lending Library (C.L.L) of the University of Lucknow is one of the Book Bank Library. C.L.L serves as a vital pillar in the pursuit of higher education, acting as a powerful engine for academic excellence.It is widely popular among students for its affordable and student-friendly book lending services.

Co-operative Lending Library was established in session 1966-67 is located near the Works Department of the Lucknow University campus. By providing equitable access to essential learning resources, C.L.L ensures that financial constraints do not become barriers to a student's intellectual growth.

It stands as a cornerstone of the university community; provide textbooks for undergraduate and postgraduate students for entire academic session across Commerce, Arts, and Science faculty to achieve their goal. Under its book bank scheme, students can borrow up to five books per semester for a nominal fee of ₹ 250, with the flexibility to retain them until the completion of their examinations.

C.L.L. continues to play a vital role in supporting the academic success of the university with the objective to strengthen the students and cooperative spirit and expand resources for learners.
