Vice Chancellor's Profile

Manuka Khanna, a Professor of Political Science, was born on October 18, 1965, in Lucknow. With 38 years of experience in research and academia, she has established herself as a leading figure in her field. A Gold Medalist in Political Science from University of Lucknow, she holds a PhD in International Relations . Her areas of interest include constitutional and international law, foreign policies, gender issues and research and publication ethics. She is an active seminary and is frequently invited for talks. Her publications include four books along with articles and book chapters as well as study materials. She has successfully guided 21 PhD students and has had the opportunity to visit several countries, including the USA, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

Over the last four decades she has held administrative positions of Assistant Proctor, Assistant Dean Student Welfare, Assistant Provost, Provost, Chief Provost, member of Internal Complaint Committee and Cultural Committee of University,Head of Department of Political Science, Dean Recruitment and Assessment,Pro Vice Chancellor. She is actively engaged in the work of human ethics committees of Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Babu Banarasi Das University,K. K. Hospital.
