The University of Lucknow, Lucknow as part of their centenary celebrations targeted 26000 plantations. All the Affiliated and Associated colleges participated. The target was well exceeded and in all 36262 plantations were carried out in total of 112 institutions. This event was also recorded by the World Book of Records, UK.
