Lal Bahadur Shastri Hall was built in 1964 and named after Bharat Ratna, Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, and the second Prime Minister of India. The hall has 140 single occupancy rooms which are spacious and good with a small balcony. The campus and lawns are well maintained and the boys have a central mess for dining.
The hall has a reading room in which Hindi and English newspapers are provided daily. There is a recreation room with TV and indoor games like table tennis, carom, chess. The hall has a badminton court and volleyball court in good condition in which boys play matches with in-house as well as inter-hall teams. It is equipped with facilities like washing machines, water coolers with purifiers, geysers etc.
