Golden Jubilee Hall was built in the year 1974 for boys, to commemorate the golden jubilee year of the University of Lucknow and was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr M. Chenna Reddy, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.
Golden Jubilee Girls’ Hall started for the girl students of the University in 2007. This Hall is a residence for full-time research students of the University of Lucknow. The Hall is aesthetically designed with a total of 60 rooms with single occupancy.
Hall is equipped with facilities of water purifier and water cooler along with Fridge, Geyser, Washing Machine and Microwave Oven to facilitate the daily chores of the girls. First-aid facility is provided in the hall and medicines of everyday need are readily available. The Hall has a library with rich collection of books from all disciplines and daily newspaper service is also provided.
The common room with Television and Music System and open green area attached to it is meant to provide moments of leisure. Apart from these, a hygienically maintained dining place is there for the girls to enjoy their meals. Fresh fruits and snacks are provided to the girls daily and special food arrangements are made during festivals to ensure home like environment for the hall inmates.
